A high titanium slag smelting DC Submerged Arc Furnace is an equipment used for smelting high titanium slag. High titanium slag is a metallurgical product with high titanium content, usually produced during the smelting process of titanium ore. The main function of high titanium slag smelting DC Submerged Arc Furnace is to extract titanium elements from high titanium slag for subsequent titanium alloy production.
High titanium slag smelting furnaces usually use DC Submerged Arc Furnaces as smelting equipment, heating raw materials through high-temperature electric arcs or currents. At high temperatures, the iron oxide in the raw material undergoes a reduction reaction with a reducing agent, producing molten metal that accumulates in the furnace. Titanium dioxide and other small impurities float on the upper layer of molten iron due to their low density, achieving slag iron separation. Subsequently, the slag is discharged to obtain high titanium slag. As a by-product, molten iron can be sold separately.
After collecting the obtained high titanium slag, it can enter the next step of the process and be made into other products.
