Closed cooling tower, also known as evaporative air cooler or closed cooling tower, places a tube heat exchanger inside the tower and ensures cooling effectiveness through heat exchange between circulating air, spray water, and circulating water. Due to its closed cycle, it can ensure that water quality is not polluted, effectively protecting the efficient operation of the main equipment and improving its service life. When the external temperature is low, the sprinkler water system can be turned off to save water. In recent years, with the implementation of national energy-saving and emission reduction policies and the increasing scarcity of water resources, enclosed cooling towers have been widely used in industries such as metallurgy, aviation, electricity, chemical industry, machinery, petroleum, food, plastics, rubber, etc.
The closed cooling tower utilizes a two-stage cooling method, namely: the first stage cooling adopts air cooling, relying on air to cool the cooler coils; The secondary cooling adopts air cooling and spraying. When the ambient temperature is relatively high, the secondary cooling is used. At the same time, the spraying system sprays water onto the surface of the cooler. When the water evaporates, it can take away the heat of the coil, thus achieving the cooling effect.
